The blade was polished.

Habaki : Gold foiled single habaki.
Blade length :  68.1cm or 26.8inches.
Sori : 0.5cm or 0.19 inches.
Mekugi :  2
Width at the hamachi : 3.06cm or 1.2 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.42cm or 0.95 inches.
Kasane : 0.57cm or 0.22 inches.
The weight of the sword 640 grams.

Era : Nanbokucho Period.
Shape : Osuriage mumei, Bo-hi are engraved on both side. regular thickness and deep Sori, longer Kissaki
Jigane : Itame-Hada well grained, Jinie attached, Chikei work.
Hamon : Nie-deki, deep Nioi-kuchi and sharpe Gunome-midare. Sunagashi, Kinsuji worked.
Boshi: Midarekomi then Hakikake. Kinsuji worked.

Special feature: Kaneuji who was a student of the Masamune visited to Mino province then flourishing well and educated many students like Kanetomo, Kanetsugu, Kaneshige and Kanenobu. Their swords called Naoe Shizu.
