The blade was polished.
Blade length:69.84 cm or 27.49 inches.
Sori : 1.5 cm or 0.59 inches.
Mekugi: 3
Width at the hamachi: 3.00 cm or 1.18 inches.
Wide at the Kissaki: 2.01 cm or 0.79 inches.
Kasane : 0.73 cm or 0.28 inches.
Era: Edo period Kanei era(about 1624.)
Shape: The blade was cut shortened about 5 cm and small Sori with longer point.
Jitetsu: Itame hada well grained with Jinie attach with Chikei work.
Hamon: Niedeki Suguha with rather thick Nioikuchi. In Ha, some ashi work.

Special feature : Minamoto no Nobukuni Heisiro Yoshimasa was a son of the Yoshisada and working at Chikuzen province. The blade was cut shortened about 5 cm. Even though suriage and Machiokuri, the blade is deep sori and nice-looking shape. Koshirae is nice. Tsuba was made by leather piled up many lines. Menuki is flower design Komino school.

Saya: Azuki-iro (russet colored) Saya
