Special feature: Oumi Daijo Fujiwara Tadahiro 2nd is primogeniture of the 1st. His father passed away in 1633, when he was only 19 years old and he have to start making sword from this time. Of course, he did not have any skills at this moment but his father’s students help and teach him making swords. He received the Mei Oumi Daijo in 9 years and made swords whole life, until he pass away when he is 81 years old. He was made swords over 60 year and is is the sword smith who made most numerous Hizen sword. This sword was made when he was young, 20 years old, just start to make swords and have not receive the Mei Oumi Daijo.

From Aoi Art: This work is supposed to be made before he succeeded to Oumi-Daijo, approx. Kanei 15-16. After he succeeded to Oumi-Daijo, he made a lot of mild Suguha-deki, but the works before that have tendency of having strong atmosphere with lots of works in Hachu. In my opinion, we can feel his eagerness to get away from the trace of the 1st from its Hamon with deep Nioikuchi.
Suguha with deep Nioikuchi, Notare and Ashi, Ha works in Habuchi very mildly like morning dew: very beautiful piece of art. We can truly recommend this for you. Niju-ba, Sunagashi and Kinsuji come in mildly, and from near Monouchi to the tip Nioikuchi goes much deeper and went brighter; perhaps made to copy Shizu.
