Special feature: Tadahiro is a swordsmith from Hizen and a son of the 1st Tadayoshi. His real name was Hashimoto Heisakuro. His production started from Kanei 10, after his father passed away. He succeeded to Oumi Daijo in Kanei 18 at the age of 29. It is said that he was best around the Shoho and Keian era. He never succeeded Tadayoshi Mei and persisted to use Tadahiro Mei. Domain gave him a house and 20 Goku salary and he tried his best to make Hizento more famous and well-made. His production period is long: 60 years. So he made lots of works and various styles. He passed away in Genroku 6 at the age of 80. His works are very sharp and designated as Owazamono. His works are said to be the most elaborate Hizento Jigane amongst all swordsmiths, and he is said to be the second best swordsmiths of Hizento, next to his father Tadayoshi.

From Aoi Art: Oumidaijo Fujiwara Tadahiro is a son of Tadayoshi 1st. He was still 19 years old when his father passed away. However, he succeeded to Oumidaijo in July of Kanei 18 by his talented skills and great supports of father’s pupils. He passed away at the age of 81 in Genroku 6. His production periods are really long and he left behind the most (in number) swords in Hizento swordsmiths. He made both Suguha and Chojimidare: both of them are well-made. This work has deep Nioikuchi and is extremely well-made. It is made around the Keian era. This work is in a very good condition, has enough thickness, so we truly recommend this to you.
