The blade was polished.
Habaki :silver dounble habaki.
Blade length : 72.6cm or 28.6 inches.
Sori :2.1cm or 0.83 inches.

Width at the hamachi :2.84 cm or 1.12 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.03 cm or 0.8 inches.
Kasane : 0.41cm or 0.16 inches.
Era : Syowa 48Nen 1973.
Shape : The blade is rather slender, long with suitable sori and longe kissaki elegant shape.
Jigane :koitame hada and masame hada mixed with jinie and chikei work.
Hamon :Nie deki suguha with small ashi and yo work soft feeling nioikuchi.
Boshi is round shape.
special feature:Hizen Kuji Jyu Yasuhiro was born at Meiji 43 at Saga prefecture and made many swords doring war time. He got the army technical encouraging prize of the predident prize. He was a student of the 3rd generation Fuyuhiro.

Koshirae :
Tsuba :On the round shape iron Tsuba, flying geese are engraved open work. Owari Tsuba: the tsuba was made around middle Edo period.

From Aoi Bijyutu:  Hizen Kuji Jyu Yasuhiro first generation was worked during war time. This sword looks old Koto style like Rai school. In Hamon, a lot small ashi and yo with soft nioikuchi.
I think this sword is suitable for Iai Practice because the blade is not heavy and well balanced.
