It is believed that his career started in that year. He passed away in Kyoho 6, at the age of 89. In the Edo period, Bizento sword smiths had catastrophic situations because of the end of the war and the flood of Yoshiigawa. There appeared Ueno Daijo, and he had unified the groups of Bizento and formed a big Bizento school.

From Aoi Art: It is really rare that he engraves Uramei as “Bishu Osafune Junin, in August of Genroku 10.” It is certain that it was made really elaborately. Beautiful Jigane, Suguhadeki, bright Hamon.: These are his characteristics. Koshirae is really well-made Issaku-Koshirae, in which Aogai-Chirashi collaborates with wave patterns. It is 935g heavy, but we didn’t feel that heavy when we had it. This is perhaps because its shape is really nice.
