Explanation: At Genroku 5th Jinshin July 9th,Wakige zui was cut by cutter Hattori Jinuemon and witness Yamauchi Yadayu.

Shinto:Jyu saku :Ryo wazamono cutting test ranking:Echizen.
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to Jyo Jyo saku ranking.

The blade was polished by good polisher.
Habaki :Gold wrapped single habaki.
Blade length : 70.9  cm or 27.9 inches.
Sori :1.1cm or 0.433inches.
Mekugi : 3 
Width at the hamachi :3.14 cm or 1.236 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.24cm or 0.88 inches.
Kasane :0.68 cm or 0.268 inches.
Era : Edo period Genna era. 1615.
Shape : The blade is rather wide
and thick with suitable sori and longer kissaki like Keicyo style.
Jigane :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach
and small Masame hada mixed.
Hamon :Niedeki suguha with small ashi
and Yo scatter some parts are thick
nioikuchi. bright and clear hamon.
Boshi is midarekomi and togari and turns back sharply like Samonji.

Special feature:t is said that Yamato Daijyo Masanori the First was descended
from Sanjo Yoshinori. Yoshinori was the representative swordsmith of Yamashiro province
in the middle Muromachi period. Masanori was born at Miyazu in Tango province
and learned under his father Norimitsu. Masanori lived in Kyoto for a period
of time and moved to Echizen province, present Fukui prefecture.
He worked as a retained swordmisth of the Matsudaira family, a near relation of the Tokugawas.

Masanori is quite rear. The blade is wide
and thick which looks like Keicyo era.
This cutting test is very rear because cutting tester cut the body
and Syonin (witness ) is added on the tang of this sword.
