The blade is polished.
Blade length : 70.4 cm or 27.7 inches.
Sori : 2.2 cm or 0.86 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 3.36 cm or 1.32 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.21 cm or 0.87 inches.
Kasane : 0.58 cm or 0.23 inches.
Era : Late Edo period (A.D. 1780)
Shape : The blade is wide and thick with deep sori and a long kissaki.
Jigane : Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach, very clear texture.
Hamon : Niedeki kogunome midare from the hamachi and then active notare and suguha with thick nioikuchi.

Special Feature: : Suishinshi Masahide is a quite well known sword maker but unfortunately this sword is Gimei.

Koshirae : Gendai(modern times)

From Aoi-Art : This signature is fake but the blade itself is well balanced.
We recommend this sword for Iai practice or Batto(Tameshigiri)
