This sword belongs to Jyo Jyo Saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki :silver single habaki
Blade length : 76.2 cm or 30 inches.
Sori :1.7cm or 0.66 inches.
Mekugi :  1
Width at the hamachi : 3.23cm or 1.27 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.32 cm or 0.91 inches.
Kasane : 0.67cm or 0.26 inches.
Wwight of the blade:975 grams.
Era : Late Edo period Keio 4 Nen 4 Gatsu.(Meiji first year)1968Nen
Shape : The blade is wide and thick wizu deep sori
and longer kissaki very attractive shape.
Jigane :Masame had well grained with jinie attach.
especially on the sashiomote side from Hamachi to middle side is item
and mokume missed and from thee to the top , massage hada.
On the Ura side is Masame hada with chikei work.
Hamon :Niedeki suguha with kasha scatter soft feeling and from hamachi side about 5 cm slightly Ubuha which maenad very healthy blade.
Boshi is round shape and kinsiji along with round boshi.

Special feature: Suifu Jyu Tokumur Norikatsu was born Bunka 6(1809) in Edo
and then Mirto samurai as a sword maker and studied from Norimune who somertrimes made Masame hada.
after that, at Bunkyu era(1864) he moved to Edo Mito lord family and studied from Hosokawa Masayoshi, Ishido Korekazu and others.
He returned Mito and made sword Suguha hamon with Masame had.
He tried some different sword but finally he decided Masame had with suguha hamon,
This massage had hamon were welcomed by Mito samurai.
Norikatsu was successful from now on, following the rule.
Also, because of the air of Mito Samurai, he preferred to produce a long piece
with a long cutting edge and a long width swords.
He died at the age of sixty-four in 1887 (1872)
his work is characterized by the appearance of the characteristic massage hada skin,
and the streaks of Sunagashi that appear in the blade like kinsuji in the hamon are wonderful.

Hokke saber and made perfectly.

Koshirae is also very fine which was used at that time.
