This sword belongs to Jyo Saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold failed double habaki.
Blade length : 66.8 cm or 26.3 inches.
Sori : 1.7 cm or 0.67 inches.

Width at the hamachi : 3.12 cm or 1.23 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.15 cm or 0.84 inches.
Kasane : 0.66 cm or 0.26 inches.

Era : Late Edo period, Bunka era (ca 1815)
Shape : This sword is wide and thick, it has the nice shape.
Jigane : Blackish Jigane, Well grained Ko-itame hada with Jinie attached.
Hamon : Nie-deki, pointed Gonome-midare, it has Sunagashi, Kinsuji. round shaped Boshi with double Hamon.
Special Feature : Masafusa was active from the early to the late Edo period.
Masakiyo, the 1st generation of Masafusa, founded Satsumato and had a big influence on Motohira and Masayuki.
This sword has some characteristics of Masakiyo’s style but the signature and file-mark look not identical with the original.
From Aoi Art : The Hamon of this sword is similar to that of Masakiyo’s.
Jigane is also nice and there’re many Hataraki in the Hamon but the signature is not guaranteed.
