Habaki : Copper single habaki.
Blade length : 67.0cm or 26.3 inches.
Sori : 1.2cm or 0.47inches.

Width at the Kissaki : 2.15cm or 0.84 inches.
Kasane : 0.65cm or 0.25 inches.

Era : Showa, during WW2
Shape : Wide and thick sword with regular Sori and Chu-Kissaki. Long Ububa is remain.
Jigane : Ko-Itame-Hada well grained, Jinie attached beautiful Jigane.
Hamon : Ko-Niedeki deep Nioikuchi. Gunoe-Midare and Togari-Gunome mixed. Kinsuji
special feature: Noshu Seki Ju Kanetoshi’s real name is Murakami Yoshiyuki. He was
worked at Seki Token Company and made swords for Japanese Army.
Koshirae :
Tsuba: Iron Tsuba. Water wheel and wave, hollyhock is engraved.
Fuchikashira; Shakudo plate.
Saya: Deep brown color Ishime plate.
Menuki: Shishi dogs are engraved with gold color.
Koziri: Shibuichi plate.
From Aoi Art: This sword was made by Kanetoshi at Gifu province during
WW2. He also made a lot of other swords for Army during
the war. Swordsmiths need to make numerous swords
during the war so usually, the quality is low, but this
one is a good one. We think he was doing his best to make this
sword for a specific person. The blade is made during WW2
but we think the Koshirae and fittings is older.
