Shape : The blade is not so long but wide and thick. the proportion is nice.
Jigane : Koitame-hada grained so well that looks like Muji.
Hamon : Nie-deki, Suguha with Ko-Gunome-Midare, it has Ko-Ashi. The Boshi is Maru.
Special Feature : During world war two, Emura Shigetaro, the general manager of Okayama prison, invited Nagamitsu, the swordsmith in the prefecture, to work at the prison.
The prison had the sword forging factory, and Emura and Nagamitsu worked together to teach the prisoners the sword making with their rehabilitation in mind.
The style of Emura and Nagamitsu are kind of different, the difference has yet to be researched.
Koshirae : Army Koshirae. Showa 18th type, this Koshirae is common for Emura and Nagamitsu swords. it’s damaged overall.

This sword may have been polished recently.
