Katana in Shirasaya with Koshirae.

Signature :Mumei(unsigned) attributed as Owari seki school.

(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki :Shakudo single habaki.
Blade length : 75.15 cm or 29.59 inches.
Sori :1.515 cm or 0.596 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 3.23cm or 1.27inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.4 cm or 0.94 inches.
Kasane : 0.72cm or 0.283 inches.
Era : Early Edo Keicho era.
Shape : the blade is wide and thick with suitable sori
and long kissaki nice looking shape.
Jigane :Itame hada well grained with jinie attach
with masame hada mixed.
Shinogiji:Itame hada and masanagare.
Hamon :Koniedeki suguha notare and long kissaki nice looking shape.

Special feature: This sword is long kissaki Keicho shinto style
like Owarizeki or Hida Kami Ujisada.
On the middle part, there is Kitae Ware appear but not serious.
The style is gorgeous shape.

Koshirae : Handachi Koshirae.
Saya : blue shell powder saya.
Tsuba : On the round shape iron Tsuba,
leaves are engraved open work: Shoami school.
Menuki : a crane design is engraved with gold color.

Koshirae is also simple but old feeling Edo era Koshirae.
