This sword belongs to Jyo-jyo ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Copper single Habaki
Blade length : 67.88 cm or 26.7 inches.
Sori : 2.12cm or 0.83 inches.
Mekugi : 3
Width at the hamachi : 3.2cm or 1.25 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.49 cm or 0.98 inches.
Kasane : 0.6 cm or 0.23 inches.
The weight of the sword 805 grams.
Era : Muromachi period Koji era
Shape : Wide and thick blade with Bo-hi on both side.
Deep Sori and big Kissaki.
Jigane : Ko-Itame-Hada abd Ko-Mokume-Hada.
Jinie attached beautiful Jigane with Chikei.
Hamon :Niedeki-Suguha based clear Ko-Gunome-Midare.
Boshi is Notare sharp round
shape with Hakikake style, Kinsuji worked.

Special feature : This piece is mumei sword but it is attributed as the skillful Shimada Hirosuke.
The first generation was active at Eisho period and the second generation is made in Tensho period.

Koshirae :
Saya :Black Roiro Saya with thin flower pattern
Tsuba :Round iron Tsuba with Saotome style openwork. Mimi is brass Fukurin.
Fuchikashira: Shakudo Nanako plate. Dragon is engraved with gold color
Menuki: Dragon is engraved with gold color.

From Aoi Art: This sword is very wide and good shape, Jigane is high quality one and
Hamon is also clear, but we can not understand why it is Mumei. We recommend this
sword because of nice Kogane and bright hamon and good shape.
