This sword belongs to Jyo Saku ranking.

The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold foiled single Habaki.
Blade length : 82.1 cm or 32.32 inches.
Sori : 3.2 cm or 1.25 inches.
Mekugi :  2
Width at the hamachi : 3.21cm or 1.26 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.23 cm or 0.87 inches.
Kasane : 0.8 cm or 0.31 inches.
Blade weight: 975 grams.
Era : Early Muromachi period.
Shape : Ubu Nakago, wide and thick long blade with large Sori.
Jigane : Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach. There are Shirake Utsuri.
Hamon :Nioi Deki, Ko-Gunome Midare and Ko-Choji Midare.
There are fine Sunagashi and Kinsuji. Boshi is Midare round shape.

Special feature: Fujishima School originated in Echizen province, present Fukui pref.
in the 14th century. In the mid 15th cantury,first genration of Tomoshige moved to Kaga and prospered there.
This blade is healthy. And the Nakago is also long and Ubu.

Koshirae :
Saya : Black and red color Saya.
Tsuba : Round shape iron Tsuba. Some pattern with silver inlay.
Menuki : Shakudo, Shishi dog is engraved with gold color.
Fuchi: Shakudo, flower is engraved. Signature: Kikukawa Nagahide.
Kashira: black horn.

From Aoi Art: We guess that this blade was donated to shrine or Temple.
In Edo period, holding a long sword was prohibited.
So this is very precious sword.
