This sword belongs to Saijyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Blade length : 61.4 cm or 24.17 inches.
Sori : 1.0 cm or 0.39 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.82 cm or 1.11 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.75 cm or 0.68 inches.
Kasane : 0.62 cm or 0.24 inches.
Era : Kamakura period around Shoan era(1299-1302).
Shape : Osuriage Mumei Katana. Regular width and thickness.
The Kissaki is long.
Jigane : Ko-Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach.
There are Utsuri.
Hamon : Nie Deki, Suguha with many Ashi and Yo.
There are double Hamon. Boshi is round shape, Yakizume style.

Special feature: Rai Kunitoshi, he was said to be Rai Kuniyuki’s son.
There are 2 characters Kanji “Kuni Toshi” and 3 characters Kanji “Rai Kuni Toshi”. There is also a theory that they were the same person.
Their activity period is for 40 years. According to that,
it is quite possible to make sword alone.
However, there is a sllightly differance between the two.
This blade is Osuriage Mumei. The Jigane is so nice.
And also there are clear Utsuri and a lot of activity in the Ha.

The Hamon is double Ha. In Ha, there are Sunagashi and Kinsuji.
