The blade was polished.
Habaki: Gold foiled double habaki.

Sori:1.0cm or 0.39inches.

Width at the Kissaki:2.25cm or 0.88inches.
Kasane:0.71cm or 0.27inches.

Era: The early Nanbokucho period
Shape: The blade is broad and thick with longer Kissaki/
Jigane: Koitamehada is grained well with Jinie. Chikei comes in and the Hadame is visible.
Hamon: Niedeki Ko-Gunomemidare, Chojimidare comes in, Ashi works well. Sunagashi and Kinsuji works in Hachu. Boshi is Midarekomi and after that becomes Hakikake and finally Niju-ba.

Special Feature: The word „Yamato Shizu“ was originally used to indicate the works by Kaneuji(兼氏) before he moved to Shizu in Noshu Tagi province, when he used the name Kaneuji(包氏). However, after he had moved, some people named themselves as Kaneuji(包氏) in Yamato, and they are also called as „Yamato Shizu“. This work is full of Gunomemidare and jinie. The Jigane is strong. Hamon is mixture of Gunome, Ko-Gunome, and Choji: the characteristic of Yamato Shizu.

Tsuba: 8-Mokko-shaped brass Tsuba. The lines are engraved with silver color.
Fuchikashira: On iron plate, clouds are engraved with gold color.
Saya: Ishimeji Saya. The rear is Kawari-Nuri-Saya.(oddly painted)
Menuki: On gold(probably) plate, a dragon is engraved.
Kojiri: On iron plate, clouds are engraved with gold color.
Thread: made of leather.
