From Aoi Art : As you know Yamato school has 5 major sword groups. Hosyo, Tegai, Taoma, Shikkake, and Senjyuin activity rubbing.
These groups are working for Temples and shrines in order to protect. Generally, old Tegai school’s texture is very nice koitame hada
not Masame hada like cut the surface of Japanese sweets also shindig ji.
Many sword collectors sometimes make mistakes about thinking this as Tegai school is Masame hada.
This sword is an old type Tegai school which was made around the late Kamakura period. The Jigane reminds us of Kanenaga.
The sword was passed more than 685yeard but still good condition.
The sword has kept generation to generation for a long period by each owner. We strongly recommend this sword for you.
