The end of the Kamakura period. ChinChin ChoCho.
Blade length is 2syaku 1sun 5bu.

This blade belongs to Saijyo saku ranking.

The blade was polished.
Blade length : 65.1 cm or 25.62 inches.
Sori : 1.1 cm or 0.43 inches.
Mekugi : 3
Width at the hamachi : 2.83 cm or 1.11 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.19 cm or 0.86 inches.
Kasane : 0.57 cm or 0.22 inches.
Era : period.
Shape : Rather wide blade. The Sori is small. because the blade is Osuriage. There are Bo-Hi on both
Jitetsu : Ko Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach.
There are Chikei. The Jigane is clean.
Hamon : Nie Deki, Middle Suguha with Ko Gunome Midare.
Tehre are Ko Ashi. The Nioikuchi is thick and bright.
Boshi is small rounded shape.

Special feature : Rai Kunimitsu is a son of the Rai Kunitoshi.
The deference of his father Kunitoshi is making wider swords and made many Tanto.
This sword was attributed as Rai Kunimitsu which is very nice fine texture with koitame and komokume hada.
inside of the blade, has sunagashi and nice Kinsuji apper.

Koshirae:
Tsuba :on the round shape iron tsuba, fukurin was covered by shakudo plate and on the Ji,
a shishi dog and peony flowers are engraved with gold color.
menuki Lobster is engraved with gold color.
fuchikashira On the shakudo nanako plate, a shishi dog and peony flower are engraved with gold color.
Saya On the blue shell powder saya, black belts are painted by black Urushi.
