The blade was polished.
Habaki :Ggold foiled double habaki.
Blade length : 62.8 cm or 24.72 inches.
Sori : 1.3 cm or 0.51 inches.

Width at the hamachi : 3.06 cm or 1.20 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.25 cm or 0.88 inches.
Kasane : 0.76 cm or 0.29 inches.
The weight of the sword : 695 grams.
Era : Late Kamakura period.
Shape : Osuriage Mumei, wide abd thick Katana.
There are Bo-Hi and Soe-Hi on both side fo the blade.
Jigane : The mixture of Ko Itame Hada and Mokume Hada.
And Jinie attach. It looks like Rai Jigane.
Hamon : Ko Nie Deki, Suguha Hamon with thick Nioikuchi.
And Gunome Midare. In the Ha, there are Sunagashi, Kinsuji and Inazuma.
Boshi is Midarekomi rounded style.
Special feature: From late Kamakura period to Nanbokucyo period, there are some sword makers like Unji Unjyu at Bizen province.
These sword makers looks like Rai, Yamashiro
and also Aoe style which is called Ugai school.
This sword has nice Nikuoki which is called Hamaguri ha.(surface of clam round shape.)
This sword is very healthy fantastic nice Jigane and Hamon.
From Aoi Art: There are Tobiyaki Hamon on the Omote side.
On the Sashi-Ura side, there is a Tobiyaki at the 10cm from the Hamachi.
The blade is Yamashiro school Rai’s nice Jigane.
Especially the Jigane is so beautiful and the blade is healthy.
