(Osuriage Mumei Naoeshizu made around the middle of Nanbokucho period Ouan era. Style is Shoshu Joko Den plus Mino Den. it is very thick Deki Utsuri. Length 70.2cm )

Shinogiji: Koitame-hada and Komokume-hada mixed, Chikei work. There is Umegane near Kissaki of frontside.
Hamon: Niedeki Gunomemidare, work stronger from Monouchi. Sunagashi, Kinsuji work
Boshi: Midarekomi Hakikake flame style.

Special feature: Shizu Kaneuji ‘s disciples Kanetomo, Kanetsugu,
Kanetoshi, and 2nd generation Kaneuji moved to area aoe from area Shizu, in Mino province. And so, they were called Naoe-Shizu. Naoe-Shizu blades has less Jinie and Chikei than Kaneuji.This blade has excellent Jitetsu. And Hamon is a typical Notare by Naoe-Shizu. This blade is a very high-quality blade, and approaches Kaneuji. Also, the condition is quite healthy.

Menuki: On Shakudo plate, the flag is engraved with gold color.

From Aoi Art: It is difficult to fine Naoe Shizu these days. Jigane is beautiful, Hamon is pretty congealed but this is one of Naoe Shizu features. Shape and Koshirae are also good.
