The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold foiled double Habaki.
Blade length : 73.2 cm or 28.81 inches.
Sori :cm 0.97 or 0.38 inches.
Mekugi : 3
Width at the hamachi : 3.2 cm or 1.25 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.37 cm or 0.93 inches.
Kasane : 0.73 cm or 0.28 inches.
Era : Nanbokucho period.
Shape : O-suriage Mumei Katana.
Bo-Hi on the both side of the blade.
Jigane : The mixture of Mokume Hada and Ko Itame Hada with Jinie attach.
The Jigane is clear.
Hamon : Ko Nie Deki, Suguha. The Habuchi is soft.

Special feature:Rai Kuninaga is a student of Rai Kunitoshi.
He has moved from Nakajima of Settsu province thus it is called Nakajimarai.
He has been active during Nanbukucho period.
The work is different of that of Nobukuni.
This piece is at first glance Rai Kunitoshi because of the fine Jigane and hamon.
The Ashi and Yo is excellent work. It is flawless nice work.e.
