The blade was polished.
Habaki: Gold foiled double habaki.
Blade length: 67.4 cm or 26.5 inches.
Sori : 1.0 cm or 0.39 inches.
Mekugi : 3
Width at the hamachi: 2.95 cm or 1.16 inches.
Width at the Kissaki: 2.26 cm or 0.89 inches.
Kasane : 0.63 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Nanbokucho period.
Shape: The blade is Osuriage Mumei(cut shortened) attributed as Enju, it is deep sori nice shape katana.
Jitetsu: Koitame-hada and Mokume-hada mixed with jinie and Chikei work and Shirake Utsuri appear.
Hamon: Niedeki Suguha with small Ashi scatter and round shape Boshi.

Special feature: The founder of Enju school is Tarou Kunimura who was the student of Rai Kuniyuki.
From the Kamakura period to the Nanbokucho period, the school has flourished at Higo Kikuchi ward.
The representative swordsmith were Kunimura, Kuniyoshi, Kuniyasu and Kuninobu.
Even though small Kizu on the Ji, the blade is good Jigane and nice shape.

Tsuba: Nice round shape openwork Tsuba with pine tree and flying bird.
Fuchi-Kashira: Shells carved on Shaludo plate.
Saya : Black Roiro saya.
Menuki: Family crest is engraved with copper plate.
