That is why his Nakago is shaped a little bit different from the other swordsmiths. He became very famous because he succeeded in making sharp swords from Tamahagane and Swedish iron. Mune is rounded. It is a very well-made sword. This Koshirae is supposed to be made in the same era when the sword was made. Nakago’s shape is Kiji-Momo shape: very unique shape of Koto.
