This sword belongs to Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki :gold wrapped single habaki.
Blade length : 61.3 cm or 24.13 inches.
Sori :1.1cm or 0.43 inches.
Mekugi :  2
Width at the hamachi : 3.02cm or 1.18 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.22 cm or 0.48 inches.
Kasane : 0.71cm or 0.27 inches.
Era : Edo period Genroku era.
Shape : The blade is rather short and regular wide
and thick with small sori and regular Kissaki.
Jigane :Itame had well grained with jinie attach.
Hamon :Niedeki suguha rather tight.
Boshi is round shape.

Special feature:The Nakagojiri shape is typical Kasyu nakago.
The most well known sword maker is Harima Daaijyo Fujiwara Kiyomitu.
Cyobei Kiyomitu ia called Hinin Kiyomotsu.
At Edo period Genroku era, sword demanding is very few and lived
hardship At the end of Kanbun era, Maeda family built Hinin goya
which is called Hiningoya for collecting beggar and very poor person
to live in a small house. At Asakusa, Shinagawa
and also Kaga  domain and also other districts made Hiningoya.
I think it was very hard time for making swords.
The first and secong generaruin Kiyomitsu used this Hiningoya(small house )
in order to spend very severe time.

Koshirae :
Saya : kawarinuri saya.
Tsuba :On the round iron tsuba, some design engraved open work.
Menuki : Kiri mon(family crest) in engraved.
Fuchikashira: On the iron, iron lines are engraved.

From Aoi Art:This sword might be made by Cyobei Kiyomitsu.
The must lived at Hiningoya provided by Maeda family Daimyo
which was Hinin (not treated as a human beings) beggars
and very poor person. At that period, sword demanding is very few
and lost his work and had to live in a small rabbit hatch.
While in this poor condition, sword makers made swords.

Back ground of age:Edo period was peaceful time
but sword craftsmen and Yoroi and Kabuto makers
must abandon their jobs.
