The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold foiled single Habaki.
Blade length : 63.5 cm or 25.0 inches.
Sori : 1.1 cm or 0.43 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.90 cm or 1.14 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.02 cm or 0.79 inches.
Kasane : 0.74 cm or 0.29 inches.
Era : Edo period around Enpo era.
Shape : Short size Katana, regular width and thickness.
Jigane : Ko Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach.
This is beautiful Yamashiro Jigane.
Shinogiji: fine Itame Hada and Mokume Hada.
Hamon : Nie Deki, From Hamachi is Suguha and then Gunome Midare
with many Ashi. There are Sunagaashi and Kinsuji.
Boshi is round shape.
Special feature:First generation Oumi Kami hisamichi was one of
the Kyo 5 Ban kaji. His name was called as Hori Rokubee.
He passed away at age of 85.
Koshirae : Higo Koshirae.
Saya : gold color chrysanthemum pattern Saya.
Tsuba : Round shape Shakudo Tsuba, wave and family crest are engraved with gold color.
Menuki : Shakudo, dragon is engraved.
Fuchikashira: Iron, arabesque is engraved with gold color.
