Shinto, Chu-josaku. Wazamono. Settsu province
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saku)
This blade belongs to Jyojyo saku ranking.

The blade was polished.
Blade length : 68.6 cm or 27.0 inches.
Sori : 1.9 cm or 0.74 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.35 cm or 1.31 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.51 cm or 0.98 inches.
Kasane : 0.64 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Edo period Enpo era (1673~1681)
Shape : The blade is wide and thick Katana with deep Sori and also long kissaki nice looking shape.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach, beautiful Osaka jigane.
Hamon : Niedeki Gunome midare with thick nioikuchi.
In Ha, there are many sunagashi and kinsuji work.
Boshi is round shape with Hakikake style.

Special feature: Echizen no kami Minamoto Rai Nobuyoshi was a 3rd
son of first genertation Kyo Shinano kami Nobuyoshi.
And his real name was Takai Kinsaburou.
He entered the priesthood, and he was called Tomonobu.
He was strongly influenced by Sukehiro and Inoue Shinkai.
And his strong points are Touranba-Hamon and Suguha with deep Nioikuchi.
He has some signature “Echizen no kami Minamoto
Nobuyoshi”, “Nyu-do Minamoto Rai Nobuyoshi” ,
“Takai Echizen no kami Minamoto no Nobuyoshi”.
He migrated to Osaka pref in his late life and made Sword at there.
Some his blades in his late life has “Kikumon”
and “Ichi” and “Minamoto” in signature.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : Shakudo Nanako Tsuba, dragon is engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira : Shakudo Nanako, dragon is engraved with gold color.
Saya : Black Roiro Saya.
Menuki : Shakudo, dragon is engraved with gold color.
Kaeri-Tsuno : Shakudo, dragon is engraved with gold color.
