The blade was polished.
Blade length :  70.75 cm or 27.85 inches.
Sori : 2.43 cm or 0.95 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.98 cm or 1.17 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.89 cm or 0.74 inches.
Kasane : 0.75 cm or 0.29 inches.
Era : Middle Muromachi period (Meio 1492-1501)
Shape:It is regular width and thicknes long kissaki nice shape katana.
Jitetsu : Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attached.
The hada pattern is well seen. There are Chikei.

Hamon: Nie deki with much notare mixed. The nioiguchi hamon is deep on the boshi.

Special feature : Bishu Yamada Shonai was active from Shiga.
He was called Shigasetsu and was active from middle Muromachi period.
Kanenobu is a swordsmith that continued few generation.
There is very few Zaimei(sign remaining) works because most is cut shorten or called Shizu or Naoeshizu.
This Jigane is Soshuden Jigane with wonderful Ubu work(original tang)
Showa 26th year licensed. It was calledjlong Shizu that is called
The jitetsu is wonderful and nice shape. It is suguha with much graceful work.

Tsuba: Mokko shape Tsuba, dragonfly and flowers are engraved with gold, silver and copper color.
Fuchi Kashira: Shakudo plate with butterfly and silver glass engraved and inlaid with gold.
Saya: Kawari nuri saya
Menuki: Copper plate with frog design engraved.
