The blade was polished.
Habaki :silver single habaki.

Sori :1.4 cm or 0.55 inches.

Width at the hamachi : 3.05 cm or 1.2 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.16 cm or inches.
Kasane : 0.82 cm or 0.85 inches.
The weight of the sword 810 grams.
Era : Late Edo period Bunkyu 2nd. 1862.
Shape : The blade is rather wide and thick with deep sori and longer kissaki.
On both sides of the blade, engraved bo-hi.
Jigane :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach like Hizen Konuka hada style.
Hamon :Niedeki suguha with rather deep nioikuchi and small ashi
with deep nioikuchi bright and clear.

Special feature: Ishido Korekazu was born as a nephew of Kato Chounsai Tsunatoshi, learned from him and he succeeded the Ishido family
as the seventh generation, he passed away in 1894 aged 75.
He made So-denbizen den which is mixed up with Bizen and Sosty den style.
First generation Korekazu made Bizenden style with nice Utsuri
but 7th generation Korekazu made swords like Sosyu style.
This sword was made at Bunkyu end year.(1862)
This sword is Suguha hamon which is very rear bright and clear nice hamon.
