Explanation: This sword was made by Hayashi Nagataka who live in Nawa, Hoki province, for Mr. Yoshinaga Yasuzane in January 1972.

(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to Jyo Saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Blade length : 74.4 cm or 29.29 inches.
Sori : 1.9 cm or 0.74 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.33 cm or 1.31 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.56 cm or 1.00 inches.
Kasane : 0.72 cm or 0.28 inches.
Weight of the blade : 960grams.
Era : Showa 47 year(1972).
Shape : Wide and thick Katana with O-Kissaki.
Jigane : Ko-Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach.
There are Chikei, Yo and Masa.
Hamon : Nie Deki, Gunome Midare. In Ha, ther eare Sunagashi and Kinsuji.
There is a Ware(crack) from Hamachi 30cm. But it is not serious.
And also, there are some rusts on the Mune.
Boshi is large round shape.

Special feature: Nagataka is a well known swordsmith of Tottori prefecture.
He was a student of Moriwaki Kaname. He won a Nyusen prize 12times.
