This sword belongs to Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki :silver double habaki.
Blade length : 69.6 cm or 27.40 inches.
Sori :1.05 cm or 0.43 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi: 3.02 cm or 1.18 inches.
Width at the Kissaki: 1.99 cm or 0.78 inches.
Kasane : 0.68 cm or 0.26 inches.
Weight of the blade: 695 grams
Era : Edo period kanbun era.
Shape : The blade is regular width, thickness with small sori
and longer kissaki which looks like Laei Taihai.
Jigane : The blade is Koitame hada and Oitame had mixed with masanagare.
Hamon :Konie deki Suguha with thick nioikuchi and soft Habuchi bright.
Bo-shi is clear round shape.

Special feature:Ho-syu Takada Moriyuki lived Hoshu Takada
and named Chozaemon at kanbun era.

Koshirae : Handachi issaku Koshirae.
Saya : Black ishime ji Saya.
Tsuba: On the round iron Tsuba, rise up mimi.
engraved a family crest with gold color.
signature: Bungo hinodeke samurai Miyata Yoshiyasu. with nengo.
Menuki: On the syakudo plate, on the middle,
a family crest is engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira: Kojiri,Kashiwade:engraved Karakusa style design.

From Aoi Art: Hoshu Takada Moriyuki generally makes suguha hamon
with thick nioikuchi.
The blade is rather middle suguha with deep nioikuchi like Koto Enjyu style.
Koshirae is also nice condition handachi style mounting.
The Tsuba is zaimei and also uramei which is interesting and a nice data.
Tsuba maker is Moyata Yoshiyasu who was probably Samurai of Hinode family in Bungo province.
