This sword belongs to Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki :Gold wrapped double habaki.
Blade length : 70.2 cm or 27.64 inches.
Sori :1.6cm or 0.63 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi :2.98 cm or 1.17 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.185 cm or 0.86 inches.
Kasane : 0.65cm or 0.256 inches.
Era : Edo period Kanbun era.
Shape : The blade is wide and thick with suitable sori
and longer kissaki nice looking shape.
Jigane :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach nice texture.
Hamon :Niedeki suguha with rather deep nioikuch.
Boshi is round shape.
Special feature: Hizen koku Ju Mutsu no Kami Tadayoshi
was 3rd generation Tadayoshi.
Generally Mutsu Daijyo Tadayoshi has good reputation better
than other Hizen blade.
Especially fantastic well grained jigane and thick nioikuchi
have quite fascination for the beauty of Jigane and Hamon.
This sword also has every characteristic of beauty
but we can’t accept as genuine signature.
This sword is suitable for high level Iai practice sword
and also ornamental use.
From Aoi-Art:The signature if this sword is quite same as genuine
signature but The Jigane and Hamon slightly different.
So we can’t accept as genuine sword.
But if remove the signature, we accept as NBTHK Hozon paper.
