(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to Saijyo saku ranking.

The blade was polished by one of the best polisher.
Habaki :Gold wrapped double habaki.
Blade length : 69.4cm or 27.32 inches.
Sori :0.6cm or0.24 inches.
Mekugi :  1
Width at 1the hamachi : 3.07cm or 1.21 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.145cm or 0.844 inches.
Kasane : 0.63cm or 0.25inches.
Era : Early Edo Genna era.1615(400 years ago)
Shape : The blade is rather wide and thick
with nice sori and longer kissaki nice looking sword.
Jigane :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach beautiful
excellent konuka hada which is Hizen texture.
Hamon :Niedeki notare gunome with ashi, and yo work.
Boshi is midarekomi Kaen style.

special feature:First generation Tadayosi was called Shinzaemon Hashimoto
worked for Nabeshima family as a sword maker. By the order of Nabeshima clan, He and Munenaga were ordered to go to Kyoto in
order to study under the Umetada Myojyu. After several years later,
they returned to Hizen province and made swords and also engraving
on the sword by Munenaga. Their swords and engraving are
welcomed by Daimyo and high ranking Samurai.
He named Hizen Kuni Tadayoshi and then changed his name to Hizen
Kuni Jyunin Tadayoshi Saku and after that he changed his name to
Musashi Daijyo Tadahiro and then changed to Hizen Kuni Fujiwara
Tadahiro. Generally the era of the Jyunin Tadayoshi saku, l made
old copy of the Koto blade like Shizu style like this sword. He passed away
Kanei 9th August 15th age 61 years. Tadayosi school Hashimoto
family was succeeded to his son Oumi Daijyo Fujiwara Tadahiro and continued to late Edo period long terms by protected Nabeshima family.
Nabeshima family exported these swords to other inland
countries and contributed to finance of the Nabeshima family fairly.

Tadayoshi and welcomed by sword expert which is old feeling
sword like Shizu. You must understand Hizen Kuni Jyunin
Tadayoshi Saku and without Saku Hizen Kuni Jyunin Tadayoshi signature.
If the saku added the signature is first generation but if the saku is
none, the blade is Tosa Kami Tadayoshi not first generation.
This is very important.
Therefor this sword is first generation Tadayoshi.

Koshirae : Tachi Koshirae.
Saya :Brown red color ishimeji, family crests painted by Urushi.
Tsuba :Iron tsuba Tachi style and big seppa are made by syakudo plate.
Menuki : Family crests are engraved by syakudo.
Fuchikashira, Kojiri:On the silver plate, ishimeji style.
