The blade was polished.
Habaki : Silver single habaki.
Blade length : 69.5 cm or 27.36 inches.
Sori : 1.6 cm or 0.62 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.87cm or 1.12 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.06 cm or 0.81inches.
Kasane : 0.51cm or 0.20 inches.
The weight of the sword 675 grams.
Era : late muromachi period.
Shape : Regular width and thickness Katana with small Sori, longer Kissaki.
Jigane : Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach.
The Jigane is beautiful. Masame Hada appears. There are Shirake Utsuri.
Hamon : Ko Nie Deki, Suguha Hamon with soft Ashi.
Boshi is round shape and Yakisage style.
Special feature: There is a signature “Hizen Koku Tadayoshi”.
But unfortunately, we think that signature is not good.
From the Jigana, Sori, and Hamon, the blade was made around Late Muromachi period. It is similar to Sue Tegai or Sue Mihara.
If you remove the signature, the blade will pass NBTHK Hozon Token.
