Shape: The blade is shortened by about 3 cm, with a slight machi-okuri.
Jigane: Fine ko-itame with well-forged grain, featuring chikei, polished to a high degree with a blackish hue.
Hamon: Nioi-deki with a deep nioiguchi, sunagashi, ko-ashi, and yo working softly in the blade. The boshi is rounded with a return.

Features: Musashi Daijo Fujiwara Tadahiro initially signed his works as Hizen Kuni Tadayoshi, then Hizen Kuni Ju Tadayoshi, followed by Hizen no Kuni Ju Musashi Daijo Fujiwara Tadahiro, and finally Musashi Daijo Fujiwara Tadahiro or Hizen no Kuni Ju Tadahiro with a diamond-shaped dot above "Hiro." Many of his works from this period have been designated as Important Swords, indicating their high quality.

Aoi Art’s Comment: This first-generation Hizen no Kuni Ju Musashi Daijo Fujiwara Tadahiro blade has been shortened by about 3 cm with a slight Suriage and machi-okuri, but retains all its inscriptions. The jigane is exceptional, featuring chikei, and the sword has a superb polish with a blackish hue. The habaki is double-layered gold, weighing 40 grams, It might be 18-karat gold. This is an outstanding blade, highly recommended.
