The blade was polished.
Blade length : 73.63cm or 28.98 inches.
Sori : 2.1cm or 0.82 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 3.13cm or 1.23 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.55 cm or 1.00 inches.
Kasane : 0.71 cm or 0.27 inches.
Era : Early Edo period. Keicho era.
Shape : about 3cm Machiokuri Katana. Redular size.
There are Bohi on both side.
Jitetsu: Ko-Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach. It is beautiful jigane.
Hamon: Nie Deki, Notare-Ha with Ashi and thick Nioikuchi from Monouchi part to Boshi.
Boshi is Hakikake style.
Special feature : Hida Kami Fujiwara Ujifusa is son of Wakasa Kami Ujifusa.
He was born in 1567 in Mino province. He and his father moved to Owari province.
After his father death, he use the signature “Higo kami Ujifusa”(1592).
He passed away in 1631 at age of 65. His blade is Keicho Shinto style and has rustic beauty. This blade is also nice Gunome Midare with thick Nioikuchi.
Ujifusa did justice to his talent for this blade.
Tsuba: Round shape iron Tsuba with open work.
Fuchikashira: Shakudo, sheaf of rice-plants is engraved with gold color.
Saya: Black color Kizami Saya.
Menuki: Shakudo, flower is engraved with gold color.
