This sword belongs to Jyo Jyo saku Jyo Saku Regular saku J ranking.
The blade was polished by high ranking polisher.
Habaki : Gold foiled single habaki.
Blade length : 70.8 cm or 27.87 inches.
Sori : 1.4 cm or 0.55 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 3.20 cm or 1.25 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.25 cm or 0.88 inches.
Kasane : 0.68 cm or 0.26 inches.
The weight of the sword: 810 grams.
Era : Edo period Kanbun era
Shape : wide and thick katana with little large sori and long kissaki.
Jigane : Koitamehad well grained with jinie attach. It is Osaka’s unique jiggle.
Hamon : Suguha from Hamachi area, and then Gunome midare
with deep nioikuchi and Choji Midare are mixed.
Bo-shi is round shape and Hakikake style.

Special feature: It is said that the Second Echigo (No) Kami Kanesada was born in Mino or Kochi province.
He learned under Kanesada the First in Osaka and later became an adopted child.
The Second Kanesada was superior to the First and ranked at Owazamono.
Excellent workmanship can equal Tsuda Sukehiro and Inoue Shinkai in skill.
After retirement, he practically gave the swordsmith name,
Echigo (No) Kami Kanesada to his real son Yamada Iwamatsu.
The Second Kanesada continued forging sword under the name
of Sakakura Gonnoshin Terukane.
It is interesting that he almost dated with this sigtature although
he rarely did it as Echigo (No) Kami Kanesada.

Tsuba : Shakudo Nanako, clouds and dragons are engraved with gold color.
Menuki : I can’t tell it is solid gold or golden painting.
A dragon are engraved.
Fuchigashira: Shkudo nanako with gold painting.
Kozuka: Shakudo nanako, a dragon is engraved with gold color.
Kogai: Shakudo nanako, a dragon is engraved with gold color.
Kaeritsuno: Kojiri: Kurikata: Shakudo nanako with gold painting.

From Aoi-Art: This is slightly different to Doranba. It is good Gunome Midare Hamon katana.
