This sword belongs to the Saijyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold failed single and silver double habaki.
Blade length : 71cm or 27.9inches.
Sori : 1.9cm or 0.74inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.24cm or 1.27inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.2cm or 0.86inches.
Kasane : 0.73cm or 0.28inches.
The weight of the sword: 780 grams.
Era : Edo period Enpo era 1673.
Shape : Wide and thick blade. Nail and sword are engraved on front side.
Nail and Bo-hi are engraved on back side.
Jigane : Koitame-hada well grain. Jinie attached, beautiful Jihada.
Hamon : From Hamachi, Suguha then Gunome-midare
and Choji-midare mixed. Sunagashi and Kinsuji work.
Boshi is round shape and Hakikake

Special feature: Ecchu Kami Kanekuni was a stream of Yamato school
but in Edo period, Yamato school’s special feature was changed to
mix up with Shinto Jigane and Hamon.

Koshirae :
Saya : Black Ishimeji Saya
Tsuba : Iron Tsuba. Waves are golden square are engraved.
Menuki : Shakudo plate. Flower is engraved with gold color.
Fuchi-Kashiba: Iron plate. mountain grapes are engraved with openwork
Kojiri: Iron plate. Waves are engraved with gold line.
Kurikata: Iron plate. arabesque pattern are engraved.

From Aoi Art: This piece has wide and thick blade, deep Sori,
long Kissaki, good shape. Especially, Jigane is detailed, Hamon is Gunome Midare. Sunagashi, Kinshuji work.
In my opinion, This is one of best piece of Kanekuni.
Koshirae also gorgeous and matched with this blade.
