Blade length is 71.2cm. written by Honami Nishu.

Shinto: Jyosaku : Wazamono cutting test ranking:Musasi.
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to Saijyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished by one of the best polisher.
Habaki :Gold wrapped single habaki.
Blade length : 71.2 cm or 28.03 inches.
Sori :1.1cm or 0.43 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.95 cm or 1.16 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.1cm or 0.82 inches.
Kasane : 0.74 cm or 0.29 inches.
Era : Edo period around Kanbun era (1661).
Shape : Shinogi Tukuri, Maru Mume Katana with shallow Sori.
Jigane : Itame Hada, Hadadatsu with Jinie attach.
There are Chikei.
Hamon : Chu-Suguha with thick Nioikuchi.
Boshi is small round shape.

Special feature: This blade was made by 3rd generation of Yasutsugu.
There are only a few remaining his blades. This is masterpiece of his blade.
The 1st and 2nd generation Yasutsugu’s blades are full of spirit and wildly atmosphere.
But 3rd generation works are calm compared to 1st and 2nd generation.
The number of the sword with carving is very small.
The signature engraved smaller and smaller from the upper
to the lower end of the Nakago. That is his feature.

Koshirae :
Saya : Black Roiro Saya.
Tsuba : Round shape iron Tsuba, some pattern is engraved with open work.
Menuki : Shakudo, rice plants? is engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira: Shakudo nanako, autumn flower is engraved
with gold, silver and copper color.

From Aoi Art: He was born as a legitimate child of 2nd generation of Edo Yasutusgu.
When he was 17 years old, his father passed away.
The biological child succeed to the 3rd Yasutsugu.
The uncle, Shirouemon succeed to Echizen family.
3rd generation of Edo Yasutusgu words are greatly influenced by Edo
Hojoji school. His stle different from Echizen Yasutsugu.
He made nice Suguha with thick Nioikuchi and long Ashi.
The Habuchi is soft. We strongly recommend this masterpiece for you.
