Features:Though unsigned, this sword is the work of First Generation Hokke Saburo Nobufusa, also known as Ryoun, who studied the Bizen-den under Ichiryusai Sadatoshi. He was from Miyagi Prefecture and passed away in Showa 33 (1958).
He was the predecessor of the well-known contemporary swordsmith Hokke Saburo Nobufusa, who is still active today. However, the current Nobufusa specializes in Yamato-den masame-hada and Hosho-school reproductions, distinct from this work.
This katana was forged during wartime, and since the war ended before it could be inscribed, it remained unsigned and has been preserved in its current state.

Koshirae:
Tsuba: Mokko-shaped iron tsuba with gold-inlaid plum and bamboo design.
Fuchikashira: Shakudo base with a dragon motif.
Saya (Scabbard): Black lacquered with some carved patterns and red accents.
Menuki: Dragon motif.

Note; The length of the tsunagi inside the koshirae is half of the usual size. However, there is no issue in supporting the koshirae.
