This sword belongs to Jyo Jyo saku ranking.
The blade is polished.
Habaki : Gold wrapped double habaki.
Blade length : 71.7 cm or 28.23 inches.
Sori : 2.15 cm or 0.85 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.44 cm or 1.354 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.78 cm or 1.1 inches.
Kasane : 0.73 cm or 0.29 inches.
Era : Gendai(modern times)
Shape : Double Hi are engraved on both sides of the blade.
The sword is very wide and thick with deep sori
and ookissak(long) gorgeous healthy blade.
Jigane :koitame hada and oo itame hada mixed with jinie attacch,
Hamon :Niedeki gunome midare with thick nioikuchi
and sunagashi, kinsuji work.
Boshi is midarekomi style and togari small round shape.

Special feature : Akiba Kanehira sword smith is called Masatomi
and borned at Syowa 29th March 24. At Showa 29th,
He studied under the National trweasure Miyairi Syohei.
After his master Miyairi Shohei died at Showa 52,
He studied under his senior student Takahashi tugihei. At Showa 54th, he
got the permission for making Japanese sword from the government, he made swords
at Hyogo Tiyooka city. From Showa 55, He got the prize of Nyusen prize at sword contest.
After that, he got the prizes of Yusyusho prize 3thims and Doryokusyo prizes 5times and also a lot of prizes.
The sword looks Satsuma Motohira. Probably he tried to make Shizu
The sword is very healthy and nice work both Jigane and Hamon.

Habaki : gold wrapped double habaki.
Blade length : 40.4 cm or 15.90 inches.
Sori : 0.6 cm or 0.23 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.62 cm or 1.42 inches.
Kasane : 0.6 cm or 0.23 inches.
Era : Gendai(Modern times)
Shape : The blade is Hirauchi style with long and thick Mitumune style.
On both sides of the blade, double hi are engraved.
Jigane :Itame hada and ooitame hada mixed zanguri hada like Kunihiro shinto blade.
The jigane is jinie attach thickly and chikei work.
Hamon :Niedeki gunome midare with thivk nioikuchi togari gunome midare,
In Hamon, sunagashi and kinsuji work. Boshi is togari and round shape.

From Aoi Art: This sword looks like shinto Kunihiro’s jigane and Hamon.
Probably he adored Shizu sosyu den. The blade is Hirauchi style
and active Gunome midare and fantastic trexture.
