The blade was polished.
Habaki :copper single habaki.
Blade length :  67.2cm or 25.46inches.
Sori :3.0 cm or 1.18 inches.

Width at the hamachi :3.02 cm or 1.19 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.27 cm or 0.89 inches.
Kasane : 0.67cm or 0.264 inches.
The weight of the sword 785 grams.
Era : Late Muromachi period
Shape : Mihaba, Kasane is healthy with very deep sori and longer kissaki.
Jigane :Koitame had well grained with jinie attach nice clean texture.
Hamon :Niedeki gunome midare, togari gunome mixed bright and clear. Bo-shi is round shape.

Special feature:The founder of the Kanekage started from the Nanbokuchyo period and continued Edo Genroku era.
This sword was made at Late Muromachi period.
Sori has 3.02cm fine nice shape.

Koshirae :
Saya :The saya is rather lighter brown color Nashiji saya.
Tsuba :On the round shape iron Tsuba, lotus flower is engraved Busyu Masasada by gold inlay.
Menuki : On the syakudo plate, shish dog is engraved.

Era : Edo period Manji era.
Shape : The blade shobu zukuri style with sori without Kizu nice style sword.
Jigane :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach soft feeling texture.
Hamon :Nie deki gunome midare and togari gunome midare mxed
Bo-shi looks Yakizume style.

Special feature:Echizen Shimosaka school is making one big group including first generation Yasutsugu also.
Probably one of these sword makers made this sword. Generally they made Wakizashi and Tanto mainly.
