Special feature : Sword smith Moriie , a son of the Fukuoka Ichimonji school Morichika,
lived in Hatakeda area of Bizen province.
Some of his blade were similar to Osafune Sword Smiths’ blade who worked around the same time.
He was famous for his Kawazuko Choji Midare Hamon.
NBTHK Juyo paper said that the Jigane is Itame Hada and Mokume Hada.
There are Chikei and Midare Utsuri. The Hamon is Choji Midare and Kawazuko Chosji.
There are Ashi, Yo, Tobiyaki, Kinsuji and Sunagashi.
This is typical Moriie blade. We recommend this sword for you.

Blade length : 70.4 cm or 27.71 inches.
Sori :1.4cm or 0.55 inches.
Mekugi :  1
Width at the hamachi : 3.45cm or 1.35 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.53cm or 0.99 inches.
Kasane : 0.91cm or 0.35 inches.
Shape : The blade is wide (3.45cm) and thick with long sword.
Jigane :Koitame hada well grained like Muji style.
Near the Hamachi, there is a ware but not so bad.
Hamon :Nioideki Cyoji midare hamon with a lot of ashi scatter
active hamon. Boshi is midarekomi style.
