Special feature : Moriie is a sword smith of Middle Kamakura period.
This blade was made around 750years ago.
According to the sword smith dictionary of Fujishiro,
there is the blade of Moriie which is a grandchild of Morichika.
This meant that Moriie is a grandchild of Morichika.
This is Ubu-Nakago with large Sori blade and elegant shape.
We guess that this blade has kept in some Daimyo familiy.

Sori : 1.65 cm or 0.64 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.98 cm or 1.17 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.29cm or 0.90 inches.
Kasane : 0.55 cm or 0.21inches.
Shape : The blade is oosuriage mumei(cut shortened) attributed as Osahune Yoshikage.
Jitetsu :Koitame hada and komokume hada mixed with jinie attach with utauri appeear
Hamon : Nioi deki cyoji midare hamon with small ashi work.
Bosh is midarekomi style.
