The blade was polished.
Habaki : Single silver rock pattern Habaki
Blade length : 54.57 cm or 21.48 inches.
Sori : 1.4 cm or 0.6 inches.

Width at the hamachi : 2.87 cm or 1.1 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.22 cm or 0.87 inches.
Kasane : 0.69 cm or 0.27 inches.
Era : Edo period Kanbun era (around A.D.1661~1672)
Shape : Standard width and thickness blade with Bo-hi engraved on both sides with Soe-hi, deep Sori (curve) long Kissaki Ouei style good shaped Wakizashi.
Jigane : Koitamehada mixtured with Mokume well grained, Jinie attached.
Hamon : Nie-deki Suguha with Koashi working, round shape Boshi Hakikake style.

Special feature : Hizen-koku Yamato Daijo Kanehiro is a son of Kunihiro. He called himself Hashimoto Rokubee. Tadayoshi style was the main stream of Hizen sword and else were called Waki-Hizen. Kanehiro is one of the Waki-Hizen sword smith but he had his original style. His blades were not Konuka-hada like Hizen style but Jigane rather like Tadayoshi the first generation.
His swords are sharp, having slim, tight Ha with deep Nioikuchi.

Menuki : Boat engraved on Shakudo plate.
Kozuka : Stringed spool engraved on Shakudo-nanakoji plate.
Kogatana : Kikumon (chrysanthemum) : Nihon Kaji Shu Iganokami Fujiwara Kinmichi
